Context

Schneider Electric’s Industrialization Europe Hub, based in Grenoble, supports the group’s industrial sites in France, Spain, Hungary and Germany. Its industrialization, automation and quality teams wanted to benefit from generative AI. Without multiplying isolated tools.

The answer: a single entry point, the Industrialization AI Hub.

The challenge

  • Design one platform for different trades and different countries.
  • Fit within a large group’s governance framework: gates, security, controlled environments.
  • Win leadership buy-in before any deployment.
  • Prepare teams to use AI in their daily work.

Our approach

Formal scoping. A solution architecture dossier written for gate G1 (Rev 00). Then reoriented (Rev 01) toward Amazon Bedrock and containers on ECS orchestrated with LangGraph, to align with the group platform’s constraints.

A mock-up you can click through. A React and TypeScript frontend: nine screens, five roles, mock data. Leadership sees concretely what the hub brings to each trade.

Infrastructure as code, ready to go. A Terraform foundation for the platform, ready to deploy as soon as access opens.

Adoption before technology. A GitHub Copilot best-practices course and a toolkit of skills and workflows, requested by the teams. A dedicated session for the costing team. A video training on AI and prompting for employees.

Results

  • A shared vision of the hub, presented to leadership with a working mock-up.
  • An architecture dossier aligned with group governance.
  • Teams starting to use AI in their daily work, even before production.

Key takeaway

In a large industrial group, technology is only half the journey. The other half is alignment: governance, sponsors, and teams ready to adopt the tool.
